FAQ

Does every photo have this metadata?
No - a PNG, a screenshot, or a photo already stripped of metadata (for example by messaging apps) will often show no fields at all. That is a normal result, not an error.
Why does GPS location matter?
Many phone cameras embed the exact latitude/longitude where a photo was taken. Sharing that photo unmodified can reveal a home address or other real-world location.
Does this tool upload my photo anywhere?
