FAQ
- What kinds of differences does this detect?
- Visual diff highlights any pixel-level change (moved elements, added/removed images, layout shifts). Text diff highlights added or removed words, useful for catching wording changes that a visual scan might miss.
- What happens if the two PDFs have a different number of pages?
- You can still navigate to any page in either document — a page missing from one file is shown as empty in the comparison instead of causing an error.
- Does this tool upload my PDFs anywhere?
- No — both files are rendered and compared entirely in your browser with pdfjs-dist; nothing is sent to a server.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Each PDF can be up to 50 MB.
