FAQ
- What is the actual rule for a leap year?
- Divisible by 4, except century years (divisible by 100) — unless that century year is also divisible by 400. So 2000 was a leap year, but 1900 was not.
- Why does this matter?
- A leap year has 366 days instead of 365, with February 29th added — relevant for date math, billing cycles and anything counting days per year.
